Mission Statement:
Social Justice Committee will be responsible for researching and developing programs and finding resources to meet the needs of the Church. These could include, compiling a directory of human services for the community, promoting the concept of stewardship for the support and benefit of the Parishioners, and identifying programs and services needed by the Parish and community (i.e. food pantry). As well, the Committee will be responsible for ministry that includes visiting or phoning the sick, lonely or shut ins of the Parish and for outreach projects to support needs families or organizations within the community through activities such as taking up special Sunday collections to fund such projects.
