Purpose:
To assist in the coordination of information and programs for the parish concerning social issues that directly affects the dignity of people in our community and the world. |

Mission Statement:
The Social Justice Committee seeks ways to build a sense of community among all persons by advocating on behalf of the vulnerable or disadvantaged. According to God’s call to serve, we work to increase awareness among parishioners about issues that threaten or diminish the dignity of human beings and to provide opportunities for direct or indirect services that reach out to our brothers and sisters in need.

Membership: Open to any member of the parish with an interest in carrying out the purpose of the Social Justice Committee.

Commitment: Minimum of a two-year commitment and a maximum of four years for membership. Officers serve one year with an option for re-election a second year. |

Meetings: The third Monday of the month from 6:30 – 8:00 P.M. The committee does not meet in June, July and December.
