From Father Greg

Dear Friends,
This past weekend’s gospel is a story of five Kings (Matthew 2:1-12). The three wise kings, oftentimes referred to as the Magi, sought guidance; one king was a murderous bully, and the last king was an infant, humble and vulnerable who turns out to be God incarnate.
Which of these kings do you focus on. realizing the wise kings still seek the real King. The wise gather at Mass to pray for the real King’s kingdom to come; a kingdom of truth, of compassion, of care, of reconciliation and forgiveness, of justice. Thank you for coming to Mass as we continue to seek the real King and we pray for His kingdom to come.
Peace,
Fr. Greg

Helpful Resources
As parishioners of St. Genevieve, we commit ourselves to refresh our participation of Liturgy through attentive listening to God's Word, in raising our voices in prayer and song, and in reverent reception of the Body and Blood of Christ. We pledge to work for justice for those inside and outside of our boundaries and to be instruments of healing in our families and in our community.
