MISSION SPEAKER
This weekend we welcome a mission speaker to St. Genevieve's. What a reminder that we belong to a global church! Any donations given in the second collection will be forwarded to the Center for Mission. The Center for Mission then distributes the funds. You may donate online.
QUILT RAFFLE
Buy your quilt raffle tickets this weekend! $2/chance or 6/$10. Proceeds go toward the Council of Catholic Women (CCW).
FESTIVAL RAFFLE TICKETS
Speaking of raffle tickets...all sold and unsold tickets for the "big" Festival raffle need to be turned in by the day of the Festival. You may return tickets and payment in the collection basket or to the Parish Office.
COUNTRY STORE
The Council of Catholic Women is collecting homemade crafts. Please drop them off in the bins at the worship sites. You may donate homegrown goods and home baked treats the morning of the Festival.
BAKE COOKIES
Help bake cookies for the Country Store. Come to the PCC on Monday and/or Tuesday next week from 9:30-noon!
PRAYERS
Our deepest sympathies go out to the families and friends of Bill Fish and James Munster. A funeral for Bill is planned for August 6 and a funeral for James is planned for August 7. Both at the Parish Community Center at 11am with visitation at 10am.
FESTIVAL MASS CHANGES
The weekend of the Festival (Aug 15-16), Mass locations change. The 4:30 Mass will be held in the pavilion at St. John's. Be sure to bring a chair as there will NOT be a crew to move chairs from the basement this year. The 8:30 Mass will be at the St. John's Site (inside) and the 10:30 Mass will be in the Centerville Church at 1683 Sorel.
FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION
Faith Formation registration for the upcoming school year is open! Classes are held for preschool - Confirmation on Wednesday evenings. Confirmation students also meet some Sundays. At St. Genevieve, Sacrament programs (First Communion and Confirmation) are two-year programs. Get details at our website.
LORD, RENEW YOUR CHURCH
Thank you to all who attended the Parish Training last night. Volunteers will slowly begin scheduling visits with parishioners to talk about the campaign. If anyone would like to help with the capital campaign, but couldn't make the training, contact the Parish Office.

The CCW will be hosting hospitality after the 8:30 Mass on Sunday, August 9. Have a donut and buy a chance to win a quilts!

ANNUAL PARISH FESTIVAL, AUGUST 16
Eash parishioner is asked to sign up for a shift to work at the Festival. Many hands make light work! Sign-up sheets are available before and after weekend Masses.
Country Store crafts can be dropped off before/after Mass.
