ANOINTING MASSES THIS WEEKEND
Anointing Masses - October 16-17.
Anyone coming to Mass wanting to receive the Sacrament of Anointing is asked to sit on the outside pews. Because we care for this vulnerable group, please extend your hands toward them from your seat as they are anointed instead of laying your hands directly on them. Mass attendees are asked to consider wearing masks this weekend.
 
PANCAKE BREAKFAST
The Men's Club is hosting a pancake breakfast after the 8:30 am Mass this Sunday in Fortin Hall. They are hosting a pancake brunch after the 10:30 Mass next Sunday, October 24.
 
After all Masses this weekend: October 16-17.
 
TRUNK OR TREAT
The Faith Formation Advisory Committee is sponsoring a Trunk or Treat night October 30. Dress in Mass-friendly costumes, attend the 4:30 Mass and then venture out to the parking lot for treats. Families are asked to sign up at this link to decorate their trunks and distribute store-bought, individually-wrapped treats to the youth. Without trunks, this event can't happen!

LITURGY MEETING
Get involved with the planning of the liturgies. Attend the next meeting of the Liturgy Committee on Tuesday, October 19 at 6:30 pm at the PCC.
 
SYNOD SMALL GROUPS
Our Synod small group discussions are in the second week with lots of great conversation. Come tonight or Saturday or next week.
  • Saturday, October 16 and 30 9-11:30 am - PCC (coffee available!) Session 1, 2 & 3 discussed this week.
  • Wednesdays at 8:45-10:45 am - PCC
  • Wednesdays at 7:00-9:00pm - Fortin Hall
  • Thursdays at 7:00-9:00pm - PCC
 
This is your chance to give input to Archbishop Hebda about what your thoughts are regarding the local church. You do not need to register-come to a session that fits your schedule. It can be a different time slot each week. Participate all 6 weeks or just one or two. This week's topic is....
Forming Missionary Disciples
A) Life-long discipleship
B) Universal Call to Holiness

A) Welcoming Parishes
B) Collaboration in Parish Ministry

SYNOD SMALL GROUPS
Our Synod small group discussions began yesterday with lots of great conversation and continue tonight and for the next 5 weeks.
  • Wednesdays at 8:45-10:45 am - PCC
  • Wednesdays at 7:00-9:00pm - Fortin Hall
  • Wednesdays at 6:35-7:40pm - Centerville Elementary (for FF parents-PARENTS, we REALLY want to know your thoughts!)
  • Thursdays at 7:00-9:00pm - PCC.
  • Saturday, October 16 and 30 9-11:30am - PCC

PENNY AUCTION
The CCW would like to thank all those who attended the Penny Auction. Almost $1500 was raised for St. Andrew's Family Shelter and MANY laughs were shared.
 
BAPTISM CLASS
The next baptism class (Zoom) is Tuesday, October 12. Sign up at this link to attend.
