ADVENT IS HERE

This weekend we celebrate the Second Sunday of Advent and light the candle for peace. Pray for peace in our families, our communities, and our world.

CHILDREN'S LITURGY OF THE WORD (CLOW)

There is Children's Liturgy of the Word this weekend for children aged 3 years through first grade.

FEAST OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

We celebrate the Feast of the Immaculate Conception on Monday, December 8. There is an 8am Mass at the Centerville church and a 7pm Mass in Hugo. Sacristan, lector and ushers are needed for the 7pm Mass.

LITTLE BLUE BOOKS AND CALENDARS

There are a few Little Blue Advent Meditation Books available at the worship sites. The books cost the parish $1.55 each. A $1 donation is requested to help offset that cost. Calendars for 2026 are also available. The calendars are free thanks to Mueller-Bies Funeral Home.

RECLAIMING SUNDAYS

Join us as we strive to Reclaim Sundays. This week, add an Advent wreath to your prayer table/space and sing O Come,O Come, Emmanuel!

CHRISTMAS PAGEANT

St. Gen's will again have a children's Christmas pageant at the 4:00pm Mass on Christmas Eve. If your youngster wants to play the part of Joseph, Angel Gabriel, Star Bearer, Quirinius, sheep, or Kings, please sign them up now. Mandatory rehearsals are after the 10:30 Mass on December 14 and December 21.

STEWARDSHIP DRIVE

Thanks to everyone who submitted a Stewardship Drive form. All the information is organized and will be distributed to parish leadership soon.
