FESTIVAL TIME - SUNDAY, AUG 16
All are welcome to attend the 115th annual Parish Festival. There is something for everyone. The chicken dinner, complete with broasted chicken, corn on the cob, homemade coleslaw and pie will be served starting at 11am. Hamburgers, hot dogs and French Fries will be sold outside. Kids can choose 2-3 free books at the Book Buggie from noon - 2pm, and then play games and win prizes. Check out the pull tabs, Bingo, and raffles. The Silent Auction has over 100 baskets and gift certificates open for bidding. Don't forget to stop by the Country Store for homemade, home baked and homegrown goodies! See more here.
COUNTRY STORE
Bring your homegrown goods and home baked treats to the Country Store booth Sunday morning.
CAKES AND PIES
Bring your cakes for the cake walk and pies for the chicken dinner to the PCC Sunday morning. Please no cakes or pies that require refrigeration.
FESTIVAL RAFFLE TICKETS
All sold and unsold tickets for the "big" Festival raffle need to be turned in by 3pm Sunday.
FESTIVAL PARKING
Consider parking at the Faith Formation Center if you are able to easily walk up the road to the Parish Community Center.

AMERICAN RED CROSS BLOOD DRIVE
The Council of Catholic Women (CCW) is sponsoring a blood drive on Friday, August 28. Sign up to donate at this link.
FEAST OF THE ASSUMPTION OF MARY
Because the Feast of the Assumption of Mary falls on a weekend, there are no special feast day Masses this year.
4:30 MASS
The 4:30 Mass this weekend will be held in the pavilion at St. John's. Be sure to bring a chair as there will NOT be a crew to move chairs from the basement this year. The upper parking lot is reserved those who have challenges walking. If the lower lot gets full, please park in rows in the grass. Click here or on the picture above for the worship aid. This 4:30 Mass will not be livestreamed.
SUNDAY MASSES ON FESTIVAL DAY
The 8:30 Mass this weekend be at the St. John's Site (inside, no change) and the 10:30 Mass will be in the Centerville Church at 1683 Sorel. Additional parking is available at the Faith Formation Center (1664 heritage).
LORD, RENEW YOUR CHURCH
Please welcome volunteers as they are begin to schedule visits to talk about the capital campaign.
PARISH COMMUNITY CENTER CLOSED
Window woodwork is being refinished, walls are being painted, and outside beams are being revarnished from August 19-27. The PCC will be closed during the weekdays of this project. 4:30 and 10:30 Masses will be at the PCC as usual.

FAITH FORMATION REGISTRATION
Registration is open for the 2026-2027 Faith Formation year. The kick-off event is Wednesday, September 16. Register now before the hustle and bustle of the school year begins.
