**Important Update on Faith Formation for 2024-2025**
Dear Families,
We are writing to inform you about an important change to the upcoming year's Faith Formation program.
The TIME for Faith Formation classes has changed to 6:15 - 7:15 pm on Wednesdays.
Registration is open on our website. Please register by September 11 to ensure we have enough materials available. Please take note of the following registration fees:
- Register before September 3: $70 for one child, $140 for two children, and $200 for three or more children
- Register between September 3-11: $90 for one child, $180 for two children, and $250 for three or more children
- Register after September 11: $100 for one child, $200 for two children, and $280 for three or more children.

Upcoming Dates:
- September 18 - Family Faith Event: 2024-25 Kick-off
- September 25 - Catechist and Gr 9 & 10 Meeting
- September 29 - Confirmation Parent & Student Meeting (12 pm)
- October 2 - First class of Faith Formation
- October 9 - Faith Formation Classes & First Communion Parent Meeting
Class Times and Locations:
- PreK – 8th Grades: Wed., 6:15 – 7:15 pm, Centerville Elementary (CVE)
- 9th - 10th Grades: Wed., 6:00 - 7:15 pm, Centerville Elementary as Helpers. One Sunday a month at PCC from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm to prepare for Confirmation.
First Communion: The First Communion Preparation program is a 2-year process beginning in October and ending in April. This process includes a Wednesday evening program and parent-led sessions at home.
- If you would like your child to receive their First Communion in 2nd grade, they must be enrolled in Faith Formation in 1st grade.
- If a child is in 3rd grade or older they must be enrolled in the faith formation program a year before and receive First Communion the following year.
Confirmation: The Confirmation preparation program is a 2-year process. This process includes
- a Wednesday evening program beginning in October and ending in April
- once-a-month sessions to prepare for Confirmation beginning in October and ending in June.
Any youth/students seeking to be confirmed in 10th grade must be enrolled in the Faith Formation program in 9th grade.

Please consider committing your time and energy to teach, share, and witness the growth of faith in our youth. For your commitment, tuition for the children of Faith Formation is waived up to 50%. All volunteers require a background check and training, and materials will be provided. Contact the Faith Formation office for more information about volunteer opportunities.
